6 Banger Series Champ is Crowned!!
I have a lot of stuff to post over the next few days... But this is top priority. For 2026, I made a call…
Even after qualifying for the big show at SUMMERNATS, I decided not to take my car back.
Instead, I chose to invest that time, energy, and money back into something bigger — our New Zealand burnout scene.
That commitment turned into:
The Franklin Performance NZ Burnout Tour
The 6 Bangers Burnout Nats was built for the ones who don’t always get the spotlight. The guys and girls who don’t have the big V8s or rotaries… But still have the passion, the skill, and the hunger to put on a show.
This was their chance to:
Hit the pad in front of a crowd Compete under proper rules Earn real recognition And prove you don’t need the biggest horsepower to make an impact
The 6 Bangers Burnout Nats series played out over 4 rounds — including RevSouth and Rapanats Burnout Competition — and what a battle it was.
Massive travel, Huge commitment, Proper dedication from everyone involved, But the moment that hit hardest…
Crowning Outlaw burnout car as our first-ever Series Champion.
Darcy didn’t even make the cut for the Manfield event. He had to fight his way in through a Facebook vote just to get a shot. And then he went on to take the whole thing out.
Watching a quiet, humble guy grow in confidence…
Seeing his family backing him every step of the way — whether in the car or on the sidelines… That’s what this is really about.
Like I said at prize giving:
You don’t need the biggest, most powerful car. You don’t need turbos or blowers.
You just need to keep showing up… and have the right attitude.
This is grassroots burnout, This is what we’re building, And we’re only just getting started.
To every competitor that was part of this — I salute you. 
You backed this series with your own time, money, and effort…
And you showed up ready to put on a show.
Every single one of you brought it in your own way — and absolutely sent it. But more than that…
You helped make these events what they were.
Kept the pits tidy Helped out where needed Respected the vibe Made it run smoothThat’s what grassroots burnouts are all about.
No egos. No BS. Just skidders chasing more opportunities. And that’s exactly why I love this scene 
There are a lot of people to thank… But the truth is — this wouldn’t have happened without the support of some awesome businesses.
Straight up — without them, this doesn’t happen. Full stop.
