Fitzroy Motorsport is built by genuine car people, for car people.

Like most of us, it all started young — growing up around cars and being part of the scene from an early age. After stepping back for a few years to focus on work and family, the passion never left… it was only parked up.

In 2017, with the establishment of the New Zealand Burnout Champs, it was time to get back in the game — and things haven’t slowed down since. Fitzroy Motorsport has been non-stop, travelling the country and immersing itself in the grassroots motorsport scene.

In 2020, we took NUTOUT across the ditch to Summernats 33 in Australia — a huge milestone and a turning point that helped shape what Fitzroy Motorsport would become.

What We’re About Today

Today, Fitzroy Motorsport has evolved into a motorsport media, promotion, and events brand, focused on supporting and growing the scene the right way — off the street and onto the pad.

While burnouts will always be a core part of who we are, we’re passionate about all forms of motorsport, including:

  • Burnouts

  • Speedway

  • Drifting

  • Drag Racing

  • Car shows & grassroots events

Our current focus is on:

  • Creating high-quality video content and storytelling around motorsport culture

  • Promoting legal, well-run events across New Zealand

  • Supporting drivers, promoters, and venues through exposure and media

  • Building community-first projects that encourage participation and progression in the sport
